“The House that Once Cried with Blood”, One of the reports of paranormal phenomena that the Bennett’s reported during their stay at the Welles House during the 1970′s was they had encountered blood that oozed, and dripped from no known source from the walls and  floors.  We decided put the claims to the test by spraying luminol over various areas of the house.  We tried this once  at the Sallie House in Atchison Kansas, but didn’t have much success with it.  Since the reaction is hard to get on video we shot stills using a Nikon 800e, 3200 iso, f.1.8, with a 20 sec exposure.

For those that don’t know what luminol does, it is used by forensic investigators to detect trace amounts of blood left at crime scenes, as it reacts with iron found in hemoglobin.  Below are the amazing results from the experiment.
